About The Position

R+L Carriers is hiring a part-time Pre-Clerk at its Alexandria, Indiana Service Center. The role handles incoming calls, data entry, driver paperwork, and support for dispatchers. Requirements

• Ability to multitask and maintain a sense of urgency.
• Ability to type 30 WPM accurately.

• Computer literacy.
• Strong office, telephone, and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook, and other Microsoft products.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience as a clerk or in a similar role in a fast-paced environment.
• Freight logistics experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls on a multi-line system.
• Redirect calls to appropriate contacts.
• Perform data entry.
• Process driver paperwork.
• Assist dispatchers.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
