About The Position

R+L Carriers is seeking a Customer Service Representative to work at our Columbiana, OH Service Center. The CSR is responsible for maintaining a positive relationship with customers and to assist customers and other R & L employees in tracking and monitoring freight movement. Our CSR’s use customer retention techniques to ensure customers feel valued and listened to, to resolve their issues, and promote company goals and objectives. This includes daily freight tracing with customers, assisting other terminals in freight related issues, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to multitask and have a sense of urgency
• Ability to type 30 WPM with accuracy
• Dependable and well organized
• Must be computer literate
• Possess strong office, telephone, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of experience as a clerk or similar role in a fast pace environment
• Freight logistics experience

Responsibilities

• Daily freight tracing with customers
• Assisting other terminals in freight related issues
• Performing other related duties as assigned
