Pre-Assembly Lead Operator 1st Shift
About The Position
stow Group, a global leader in the supply chain industry with over 45 years of excellence, is seeking a Pre-Assembly Lead Operator for its first U.S. based manufacturing facility in Adairsville, GA. This role involves leading a team in assembling parts and products according to work instructions, blueprints, and production schedules. The operator will be responsible for maintaining production output, meeting quality standards, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment. stow is at the forefront of driving peak warehouse performance through innovative racking systems and accessible automation solutions, and this is an exciting time to join their growing team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry materials in accordance with OSHA lifting guidelines
- Familiarity with power tools, including torque wrenches and basic hand tools
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and detecting anomalies.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Moves objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a high-pace, mass production or manufacturing environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead the team that assembles parts and products according to work instructions, blueprints, and production schedules
- Operate and safely handle power tools, packaging tools, including torque wrenches and other hand tools
- Lead the setup and clean out of assembly cells by operate overhead crane, running electric stackers
- Maintain consistent production output while meeting quality standards
- Perform visual and functional inspections of assembled frames
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality defects to lead
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
- Load and unload assembly cells using electric-pallet mover
