About The Position
Mountain View Surgery Center at Gilbert is hiring a Pre-Anesthesia Testing LPN Full Time. At Mountain View Surgery Center at Gilbert, we believe health and care are inseparable. This role plans, coordinates, and oversees care for patients of any age in the Pre Anesthesia Testing department. The LPN provides care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Center. They make decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicate appropriate information to other team members. Additional responsibilities may include serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits, and projects, as designated by the manager.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Currently licensed in the state.
- BLS and ACLS required.
- One year experience required in an intra-operative setting.
- Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Plans, coordinates, and oversees care for patients of any age in Pre Anesthesia Testing department.
- Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Center.
- Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to other team members.
- May have additional responsibilities as designated by the manager, which include, but are not limited to, serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits, and projects.
