About The Position

Logan Health is seeking a Preoperative Evaluation Clinic Nurse Practitioner for their PreOp Clinic. This is a full-time employed position where the NP will have an integral role in the preoperative evaluation process within a collaborative and supportive clinical environment. Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience preferred.

- Experience in a Preoperative Evaluation Clinic is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations.
- Evaluate cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, and overall health status prior to surgery.
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing including lab work, EKGs, and imaging studies.
- Perform risk stratification and develop individualized preoperative care plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding anesthesia and procedural expectations.
- Serve as a key member of the perioperative care team, helping patients safely prepare for surgery and procedures.
- Contribute to a culture focused on quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
