This role is for a full-time Pre-Analytical Specialist working the day shift, from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm, Monday to Friday with alternating weekends. The hourly rate is $17.10/hr.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Proficient data entry skills
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all specimens brought to the laboratory are accurately identified (by name/specimen type), sorted and labeled for testing
- Assign and identify bar coded numbers to a test request form
- Identify specimen types and tests requested
