About The Position

The specialist will assign and identify barcoded numbers to test request forms to ensure all specimens received match the identification on the form and all requests are processed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient data entry skills

Responsibilities

• Accessioning and problem resolution
• Assuring that all specimens brought to the laboratory are accurately identified (by name/specimen type), sorted and labeled for testing
• Assigning and identifying bar coded numbers to a test request form to ensure all specimens received match the identification on the form and all requests are processed
