About The Position
Experienced PAT RN needed on a PRN basis for a high volume, multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center. This position is for PRN, Monday-Friday 7am-5pm (flexible). The Pre-Admission Testing Registered Nurse is responsible for contacting incoming patients to obtain and review health history. They will analyze and assess clinical data related to the patient’s anesthesia risk and appropriateness of ASC site of service. The nurse will order additional testing needed prior to surgery when necessary, conduct pre-admission assessments, and obtain clearances and testing for procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing
- Current state RN License
- CPR required
- BLS required
- Minimum one year in pre-operative, intra-operative or post-operative surgical patient care.
Responsibilities
