Class 1/AZ Prairie Regional Driver
About The Position
This is a night position averaging 2,500 miles per week. Drivers will depart Calgary on Sunday at 1800 for Saskatoon, switch trailers, and depart to Edmonton. Arrival at the customer location is Monday by 1900 to ensure smooth loading and timely departure. Departure from the customer is at 2030 to Calgary for a live unload at 0300. Drivers will drop the empty trailer and pick up a loaded trailer in Calgary, then depart for Saskatoon with a stop en route to reset. Trailers will be switched in Saskatoon, and departure to Edmonton will be before noon on Wednesday. Additional work may be available upon request, and regional work is required. Drivers will be assigned a non-smoking unit.
Requirements
- Class 1/AZ license
- Tractor trailer experience
- Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol
- Must be able to lift 50 lb. or more
- Reliable, flexible and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Values Safety
- Registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
Nice To Haves
- Reefer experience is an asset
- CP Rail experience is an asset
