This exempt position is responsible for supporting the adoption and effective use of the Firm’s legal technology and innovation initiatives through training, enablement programs, and ongoing engagement with attorneys and professional staff. The Practice Technology Enablement Specialist plays an important role in translating new technologies, including generative AI tools and other advanced legal technology platforms—into practical workflows that improve attorney productivity and operational efficiency. Working closely with the Manager of Practice Innovation and other members of the innovation and professional development teams, this role coordinates training initiatives and enablement efforts that help attorneys understand how to use innovation tools effectively within their daily work. The Practice Technology Enablement Specialist collaborates with internal stakeholders—including attorney champions, Attorney Development, IT, Knowledge and Innovation attorneys, Research & Knowledge Services, and practice group leaders—to support the rollout and adoption of new technologies. This role also collaborates with vendors and external partners to support the rollout, training, and adoption of new technologies. A significant portion of the Firm’s innovation initiatives involve generative AI-enabled technologies. This role requires familiarity with generative AI tools and the ability to demonstrate their capabilities, explain their limitations, and assist attorneys in applying them appropriately within legal workflows.
