About The Position

Radiology Partners, a leading radiology practice in the U.S., is seeking a dynamic physician leader for the Practice President role within Pediatric Radiology Alliance (PRA). PRA has a 20-year history of providing pediatric teleradiology services and is a recognized leader in the field. The Practice President will be responsible for the clinical performance, strategic direction, financial health, and long-term success of the Practice. This role involves advocating for the Practice's interests while aligning with Radiology Partners' mission and values. The Practice President will foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on patient care, innovation, physician engagement, and fiscal responsibility. This position requires maintaining strong partnerships with onsite practice leaders at client facilities, even while working remotely, and representing both the Local Practice and Radiology Partners nationally. Key responsibilities include leading physician recruitment and retention efforts, overseeing clinical operations to ensure high standards of care and quality, managing client relationships, and driving the local execution of national initiatives. The role also involves financial oversight and collaboration with operational leadership to achieve strategic and financial targets.

Requirements

  • Board certified/eligible by American Board of Radiology (ABR) or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR).
  • 5+ years of project management experience required.
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary advocate for the Practice’s mission, values, and strategic priorities, modeling behaviors aligned with Radiology Partners’ ITESA values (Integrity, Teamwork, Excellence, Service, Accountability).
  • Foster a collaborative, engaged, and supportive physician culture that promotes professional growth, physician satisfaction, and clinical excellence.
  • Maintain the partnership with onsite practice leaders (chiefs of radiology or their designees and lay administrative directors) at our client facilities, adapting to their internal practice routines, being a part of the onsite team while working remotely.
  • Lead regular Practice-wide meetings to strengthen relationships, promote transparency, and reinforce alignment around key initiatives.
  • Champion the differentiated value of being part of Radiology Partners, fostering strong connections within the Local Practice and across the broader RP network.
  • Lead or designate leadership for recruitment efforts to attract top radiology talent aligned with the practice’s clinical and cultural standards.
  • Partner with Human Resources and clinical leadership to ensure an effective recruitment, onboarding, and integration process.
  • Recruit and retain exceptional pediatric radiologists to help grow the practice team, with a focus on supporting teleradiology coverage, especially overnight.
  • Foster a supportive practice environment that encourages retention, engagement, and professional development.
  • Ensure physicians clearly understand how compensation structures align with practice goals and individual performance.
  • Oversee clinical operations to ensure the highest standards of patient care, safety, and diagnostic quality.
  • Implement and champion Best Practice Recommendations (BPRs) and other clinical standards.
  • Monitor and communicate key clinical performance metrics (including MIPS, peer review, and other quality indicators).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance clinical capacity, accuracy, and quality.
  • Ensure clients receive exceptional clinical and operational service, emphasizing responsiveness, communication, and reliability.
  • Complete QA review of client-initiated exams and participate in peer review committee meetings.
  • Disseminate learning opportunities to all our radiologists, especially when instructive cases occur.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital partners, referring physicians, and healthcare stakeholders.
  • Lead and collaborate the clinical quality program.
  • Address client feedback promptly and proactively, striving to exceed expectations and strengthen partnerships.
  • Implement mechanisms to capture and act on client feedback to improve service delivery.
  • Lead local execution of national RP initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and timelines.
  • Champion the adoption of enterprise tools and workflows that improve clinical outcomes, increase capacity, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure radiologists receive appropriate training and support to effectively leverage new technologies that improve workflow and practice satisfaction.
  • Lead the practice in achieving annual financial targets, including revenue performance, cost management, and overall practice sustainability.
  • Collaborate with operational leadership to develop and execute strategic plans that balance short-term operational needs with long-term growth.
  • Regularly review financial performance and use data-driven insights to optimize practice operations and resource allocation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
