AVP•SEES Group is a large eye care network seeking a Practice Manager to oversee the overall operation of the practice, including financial, quality, and technical requirements. The role involves managing the clinic operating budget, setting goals, and implementing continuous improvement plans. The Practice Manager is responsible for marketing activities to ensure patient flow, communicating with physician partners, and planning clinical services to meet patient needs according to AVP professional standards. Adherence to regulatory compliance policies and procedures is essential. The position involves developing and evaluating methods for efficient use of resources, monitoring department costs, and recommending capital equipment acquisitions. Collaboration with AVP on HR duties, including job postings, interviews, applicant responses, personnel files, and performance evaluations, is a key aspect of the role. The Practice Manager will also coordinate communication with physician partners, prepare management presentations, track operational metrics, manage inventory requisitions, develop marketing materials, plan physician and investor meetings, and handle travel arrangements and expense reports. Safety guidelines and patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA are to be maintained. The role serves as the primary liaison between physician partners, the practice, and AVP, and involves developing relationships with local optometrists and referring agents. Evaluating clinic activities to ensure patient care, staff relations, and service efficiency is crucial. Additionally, the Practice Manager will provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to staff, manage orientation and termination protocols, implement AVP corporate policies, assist with staff development, and administer disciplinary actions as necessary. Onboarding new physicians and allied health professionals, approving payroll hours, assessing patient flows, and championing communication huddles and meetings are also responsibilities. Partnering with leadership on strategic, financial, and tactical plans, managing front office operations with the RCM, preparing financial reconciliations, and assisting with business development and financial reporting are integral to the role. Garnering partnerships with physicians and allied health staff, and assisting with supply management and equipment maintenance are also expected.
