About The Position

Memorial Medical Group is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee the operations and leadership of three Urgent Care locations. The role requires travel among the Jerome/Plain City, Urbana, and Marysville locations, with regular rotation through the sites. The Practice Manager provides visible leadership, serves as a liaison to the Urgent Care provider group, and supports collaborative patient care. The position also oversees staffing and development, front-end billing workflows, and operational support for other physician practices within Memorial Medical Group as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Three to five years of experience in a supervisory role.
Three to five years of experience in a healthcare environment.

Nice To Haves

Healthcare experience in an urgent care setting is preferred.
Knowledge of billing functions or experience in an urgent care or medical office is preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee the overall operations and leadership of three Urgent Care locations.
Promote the effective and efficient operation of each location through visible leadership and regular rotation among sites.
Act as an organizational liaison to the Urgent Care provider group to support collaborative patient care.
Oversee recruitment and retention of qualified staff and develop current staff.
Assign, train, direct, monitor, and schedule staff; evaluate performance and ensure competencies are completed.
Review and make fair, consistent decisions regarding leave requests.
Oversee front-end Urgent Care billing workflows, including EMR-related work queues, and monitor errors and edits requiring intervention.
Communicate across the organization in a timely and effective manner to support the financial success of the Urgent Care sites.
Provide staffing coverage in areas of need as necessary.
Provide backup and startup assistance to other physician practices within Memorial Medical Group.
