About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager – Radiation Oncology to oversee the daily operations and administrative functions of a radiation oncology practice in Rockville, Maryland. This leadership role partners closely with physicians and senior leadership to ensure efficient operations, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of high-quality patient care. The Practice Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence, supporting strategic initiatives, and fostering a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required
Minimum of 7 years of healthcare management experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Experience managing healthcare operations, systems, and reporting
Knowledge of healthcare regulatory and accreditation requirements

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operational and administrative activities of the practice
Develop, implement, and maintain practice policies, procedures, and operational objectives
Analyze operational performance and business conditions and provide recommendations to leadership
Manage and maintain operational systems, including coordination of hardware and software needs
Promote effective communication and appropriate information flow across the practice
Prepare and maintain management and operational reports
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
Support the development and coordination of new office locations as needed
Supervise administrative and support staff (clinical direction provided by physicians)
Perform other duties as assigned
