As the Practice Manager at Cayuga and Schuyler Pain Management, core responsibilities include leadership and oversight for daily clinic operations, staff management, patient experience initiatives, and practice performance. The manager will work collaboratively with practice leadership and support departments to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while achieving organizational goals related to access, quality, service, and financial performance. As organizational integration efforts continue, additional practices, responsibilities, and duties may be assigned to support evolving operational and strategic needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience in budget management and financial reporting for healthcare practices (3+years)
  • Strong leadership skills, including team management and staff development (3+ years)
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance and audit processes (2+ years)
  • Experience with patient satisfaction initiatives and customer service strategies (2+ years)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in healthcare management
  • Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE)
  • Advanced degree in healthcare administration or a related field
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement training
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a fiscal plan for the practice, monitor patient revenues, and control operating expenses
  • Ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction and resolve complaints within required time frames
  • Facilitate staff hiring, training, and ongoing professional development
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and manage operational changes effectively
