About The Position

THIS POSITION WILL SPLIT TIME BETWEEN CAMDENTON AND LAURIE CLINICS Responsibilities: Operates at the site level and is responsible for the management of assigned clinic location(s). Responsible for managing the day-to-day operational flow and assumes overall responsibility of the implementation of COMC’s practice policies, procedures, and programs and for maintaining staff and systems in an efficient professional and cost-effective practice environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Team Management & Leadership Manages access coordinators, including hiring, training, evaluating performance, and creating professional development plans. Ensures productivity and provides support. Coordinates staff assignments, vacation/sick leave coverage, and ensures adequate backup for all functions. Creates an environment where employee engagement and feedback facilitate positive change. Operations & Workflow Management Identifies and implements ways to improve patient services and practice efficiency. Identifies practice problems, proposes, and implements solutions. Supports smooth and efficient daily operations, addressing barriers, complaints, incident reports, and concerns in a timely manner. Escalates issues to leadership when necessary. Maintains inventory and ordering processes for medical, behavioral health, and clerical supplies. Coordinates maintenance needs with Operations Leadership and Maintenance staff. Participates in Health Center meetings and events as required. Clinical & Compliance Support Provides non-clinical oversight of care teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Serves as liaison among medical, behavioral health, dental, and administrative staff, and patients as appropriate. Works with practice staff to ensure 340B compliance. Collaborates with the Billing department to support billing and sliding fee processes. Serves as EMR resource for practice staff in partnership with EHR Specialist. Administrative & Financial Duties Participates in and adheres to the operating budget. Reviews and approves timecards for assigned staff for bi-weekly payroll. Completes employee performance evaluations in a timely manner; coordinates with the CNO (or designee) for clinical staff and collaborates with the Dental Operations Manager as appropriate. Assists in developing, implementing, and updating practice policies and procedures. Other Duties Performs other duties as assigned to support practice operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in non-medical field or graduate of a nursing program with an RN or LPN.
  • Proven, demonstrated expertise in problem solving, priority setting and analytical skills.
  • Minimum of three years comprehensive experience in the medical practice environment with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers and regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to work with accounting concepts and develop budget(s).
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • DEPENDABILITY AND RELIABILITY: Performs all duties and assignments whether or not supervision is present.

  • Employee should have a valid Missouri driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of, and compliance with, HIPAA and 340B regulations is required.
