For more information, please visit our website at www.southwesthealthcare.com. Job Summary: We are currently seeking a Full-Time Practice Manager. This position is responsible for daily operations management and supervision in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Duties include but not limited to: Exhibits effective leadership skills through planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating practice functions in relation to IPM and UHS vision, mission, goals, values and policies and procedures. Maintenance of licenses/certifications, primary source validation, proper credentialing with health system medical staff office and payers. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders (CBO, marketing, quality team, business development, finance, A/P, payroll, human resources, c-suite, facilities, vendors, corporate and local administration) to ensure effective and efficient practice operations. Primary practice liaison to internal and external stakeholders. Manages departmental expenses cost effectively, monitors revenue cycle operations, volume, and revenue generation to ensure practice budgets are met and provider subsidies are kept to a minimum. Participates in annual operating and capital budgeting and provider and employee recruitment and onboarding. Demonstrates service excellence, conveys professionalism, and always maintain appropriate confidentiality. Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment. Must attend mandatory meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required. In lieu of degree, 5-7 years healthcare experience with at least two (2) years being in a supervisor capacity.
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience in a healthcare environment required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, EMR systems Medical and billing terminology and revenue cycle operations
  • Knowledge of healthcare or hospital office settings
  • Service excellence, and recruiting, training, leading and performance management of staff.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in using office equipment such as fax machine, copier and telephone system.
