About The Position

Mercy Dental Group is seeking two motivated and organized Practice Managers to lead the daily operations of two of their dental practices. These roles involve building strong teams, creating exceptional patient experiences, and helping teams deliver outstanding care. The positions are for The Grove Family Dental, led by Dr. John Gernetzke, and Isthmus Dental, led by Dr. Jerzy Wozniak and Dr. Golden Vu. Both practices are committed to providing a welcoming environment, exceptional clinical care, personalized service, and fostering a positive, collaborative workplace culture. The Practice Manager will help drive the overall success of the practice by achieving patient satisfaction, team engagement, and key operational and financial objectives. They will oversee day-to-day practice operations, including patient experience, team development, accountability, and financial outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-5 years experience successfully leading/managing.
  • AR/AP experience, along with fundamental accounting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow with attention to detail.
  • Ability to deal effectively with multiple personalities at all levels.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Ability to think strategically.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • 1-5 years of management experience in a dental office.
  • Familiarity with dental billing, including PPO and fee-for-service insurance models.
  • Self-motivated and ambitious.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Foster strong working relationships with dentists, dental assistants, and front office team members.
  • Help drive the overall success of the practice by achieving patient satisfaction, team engagement, and key operational and financial objectives.
  • Track and review production, collections, and accounts receivable metrics on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Excel in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing multiple priorities and responsibilities.
  • Lead, coach, and support office team members through training, mentorship, and delegation of tasks.
  • Demonstrate a growth-oriented mindset with a focus on identifying opportunities to improve practice performance and efficiency.
  • Oversee day-to-day practice operations, including patient experience, team development, accountability, and financial outcomes.
  • Remain adaptable and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities to support the needs of the practice.
