About The Position

To support Associated Medical Professionals clinic(s) by providing exceptional leadership in the clinical and clerical operations. Responsible for the Company Vision “To be the prominent urology practice and beyond, with a reputation for delivering excellent and effective care in all urologic modalities. By providing full-service urology to the patients and communities we serve, there will be greater satisfaction as well as patient and physician loyalty which will allow Associated Medical Professionals continued success and growth."

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience
  • Minimum of five (5) in Leadership role
  • Thorough knowledge in computer information systems.

  • Preferred NYS LPN/ RN licensure

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the COO to ensure optimal patient care and efficient patient flow from the reception department throughout the clinical areas.
  • Lead a team through staffing and leadership.
  • Plan and prioritize workflow with the goal of maximizing the efficiency and quality standard of the medical office clerical and clinical operations.
  • Interact with the physicians, COO and People Operations to establish and implement action plans designed to maximize the effectiveness of the clinic.
  • Create policies and procedures focused on continuous improvement and solutions to daily issues.
  • Work with People Operations to ensure that each office location is properly staffed for efficient operation of daily business.
  • Coordinate proper training process for all newly hired clerical and clinical staff.
  • Communicate realistic expectations to staff and work closely with Team Leaders to monitor progress and quality.
  • Analyze patient needs and practice objectives with employee competencies to position staff to most effectively utilize individual skills and strengths.
  • Create and maintain patient templates ensuring patients are scheduled in proper blocks of time for each physician.
  • Work with the Revenue Cycle to ensure proper procedures are followed during patient check-in and check-out to secure accurate patient financial data.
  • Approve office staff work schedules, Paid Time Off requests and payroll timesheets as well as process employee performance reviews in a timely manner.
  • Delegate the responsibilities of ordering and tracking all office supplies (verifies packing slips) and maintenance of storage areas.
  • Create communications and spreadsheets as requested by leadership.
  • Communicate effectively to physicians and leaders relative to all aspects of operations on a daily basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
