Requirements

• Licensed Optician in good standing in British Columbia (required)
• Strong knowledge of lenses, frames, and optical products
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Sales-driven mindset with attention to detail
• Organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently
• Ability to lead a team to deliver excellent patient service
• Great organizational and time management skills
• Motivational skills that will energise your team and drive success
• Financial understanding of sales, targets and budgets
• PC skills to use iOS and microsoft platforms
• Be an enthusiastic learner and teacher

Nice To Haves

• Previous management or supervisory experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide professional dispensing of eyewear, lenses, and contact lenses
• Perform adjustments, repairs, and fittings
• Ensure compliance with BC opticianry standards and regulations
• Manage daily store operations, scheduling, and workflow
• Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service
• Drive sales performance and meet store targets
• Manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising
• Handle patient concerns with professionalism and care
