About The Position

Responsible for the management of up to three providers. This role involves developing and managing departmental budgets, seeking ways to increase revenue while decreasing expenses, and communicating financial data to physicians, directors, and senior staff. The Practice Manager II will oversee the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring staff accountability for overall performance and professional communication. Excellent customer service skills are essential for effective communication with patients, staff, and physicians.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field or Associate's Degree and 4 years experience in office practice environment at a supervisory level required
  • 1 year experience working in a medical practice environment
  • 1 year experience at a supervisory level required
  • 1 year of supervisory experience in a medical practice required

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year experience of insurance and reimbursement, CPT codes, ICD codes, and Medicare/Medicaid compliance procedures preferred

  • Maintain current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self education, attends ongoing educational programs).
  • Attend staff meetings and complete mandatory in-services and requirements and competency evaluations on time.
  • Demonstrate competency at all levels in providing care to all patients based on age, sex, weight, and demonstrated needs.
  • For non-clinical areas, has attended training and demonstrates usage of age-specific customer service skills.
  • Wear protective clothing and equipment as appropriate.
