LAN is establishing a firmwide Mission Critical Facilities Practice and seeks an experienced market leader to build it. This new role will develop the firm’s presence in data centers and other mission critical markets by owning market strategy, building client relationships, and assembling integrated teams across LAN’s business groups to pursue and win work. The practice leader is accountable for market development and the pipeline; business group directors and project managers retain staffing, technical, and project delivery authority. The role requires leading through influence and operating effectively in a matrixed organization. The primary market focus is hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centers. Secondary markets include other mission critical facilities where LAN’s capabilities and existing contract vehicles provide an advantage, including healthcare critical infrastructure and military and government facilities. The practice integrates capabilities from Facilities, Civil/Water, Program Management, and other groups as client and pursuit needs require. The role owns market and practice strategy, business development and capture, strategic client relationships, cross-group leadership, and reporting and governance. It is a builder’s role: the person hired will define the practice rather than inherit an established one.
