About The Position
Atlantic Medical Group is seeking a Full Time Practice Clinical Supervisor, RN, Registered Nurse to manage a clinical area of AMG Colorectal Surgery in South Plainfield and Summit. This role involves direct patient care, including preparation for visits, assessment, patient advocacy, and collaboration with physicians on medications and care plans. The supervisor will also provide assistance and guidance to Certified Medical Assistants, conduct phone triaging, oversee medication management, and educate patients and families. The position utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Other related duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care, which includes preparation for patient visit, assessment, advocating for patient, working in conjunction with physician with medications, and care plans
- Provides assistance and guidance to Certified Medical Assistants
- Conducts phone triaging
- Oversees medication management
- Educates patients and families, along with coordinating and participating in community education programs.
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.
- Other related duties as assigned.
