License Practical Nurse
About The Position
YAI is a network of agencies providing people with intellectual and developmental disabilities a comprehensive range of services across all ages. The organization’s staff supports people with disabilities in reaching their goals and living full lives. The Practical Nurse assists in providing medical insight and participates in the assessment, planning, and implementation of medical care. The role works with increasing autonomy and provides oversight and training to direct care staff in monitoring medical systems. The nurse also participates in team meetings and delivers medically related in-services to program staff. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Compensation is up to $60,000 annually.
Requirements
- Hold a New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
