About The Position

We’re looking for a PR Intern to join 1Milk2Sugars for the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, hourly internship designed to provide hands-on agency experience. You’ll work alongside our PR team on day-to-day projects while gaining mentorship and building a portfolio of real client work. The duration of the internship is from September 8 to December 24, 2026, and it is located in the Fashion District of New York. The position is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and interns will be eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable laws. Students may also receive academic credit in addition to pay if approved by their institution.

Requirements

• Strong interest in PR, media, and beauty/lifestyle industries
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Ability to collaborate as well as work independently
• Availability to support occasional events outside regular business hours
• Comfort with physical tasks such as packing mailers (lifting up to 25 lbs, as needed)

Nice To Haves

• Previous agency or office experience
• Familiarity with beauty influencers on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube

Responsibilities

• Monitor media coverage and compile reports
• Draft press materials and assist with media outreach
• Support event planning and influencer engagement
• Maintain media databases
• Coordinate mailers and product send-outs
• Conduct research on venues, influencers, and trends
• Provide general administrative and reception support
• Other duties as assigned
