About The Position

The Customer Service Attendant will be responsible for exceeding customer expectations by welcoming them and providing fast and accurate service. This role involves handling transactions, balancing the cash register, and potentially authorizing and monitoring gas pumps. The attendant will also contribute to optimizing sales and store profitability, stocking shelves, rotating products, facing products, and labeling items. Additionally, they will be responsible for maintaining the coffee station and certain food items, ensuring the store is clean and attractive, and assisting with the replenishment of coffee and specific food items. Requirements

  • Friendly demeanor.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry merchandise, up to 12 kg (25 lb), without assistance.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed customer expectations by welcoming them and providing fast and accurate service.
  • Process transactions and ensure the cash register is balanced.
  • Authorize and monitor gas pumps (if applicable).
  • Participate in optimizing sales and store profitability.
  • Stock shelves, rotate products, perform 'facing', and label products.
  • Take care of the coffee station and certain food and pastry items (if applicable).
  • Ensure the store is clean and attractive.
