Préparateur de commandes / Order Picker
About The Position
We are looking for an Order Picker for our Warehouse team. Job tasks include, but are not limited to the following: Pick and prepare orders for production (using RF gun). Ensure accurate picking process is followed – according to FIFO and lot control process. Adhere to Health & Safety policies and quality standards. Electronic Stock transfers and inventory adjustments using RF gun. Work in conjunction with other departments to maintain accuracy of inventory levels and procedures. Attention to safety procedures for driving a lift truck. Responsible for consolidating inventory in warehouse shelving and replenishment of primary picking bins from overstock – based on FIFO procedures. Performs other tasks in his/her area of expertise and assists other departments as needs arise.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of FIFO inventory process
- Self-motivated
- Positive attitude
- Lift truck experience – reach trucks would be best
- Quick and efficient worker
- Ability to lift boxes up to 18 KG
Nice To Haves
- Experience with LOTTED or serialized inventory is an asset
- Experience using handheld RF Guns (wms based) is an asset
