We are seeking a PR & Communications Coordinator to join the team at Kensington Grey. The role will work with the team by providing administrative support, material development, reporting, and execution of PR and communication strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience in influencer marketing.
  • Successful candidates must have completed a successful internship in PR or a related field (minimum 4 months) or a minimum working 1-year in a closely related field with a transferable skill set.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Exceptional eye for detail/organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with talent and brands along with strong pitching abilities.
  • Strong social media and influencer culture knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing media and event pitching support.
  • Act as liaison and respond to media inquiries in a timely and accurate manner, while providing recommendations for next steps, managing coordination for interviews, and drafting briefing documents for talent as needed.
  • Manage and update PR coverage tracker and internal software and tracking systems (LUMI).
  • Regularly monitor for talent and Kensington Grey mentions in the media. While overseeing the development and maintenance of coverage reports for talent and Kensington Grey PR initiatives.
  • Track and report on key social media metrics, providing regular insights and recommendations for improvement to the management team.
  • Curate and maintain the PR and Social editorial calendar and identify how to leverage key seasonal moments and events for pitch angles in partnership with the manager.
  • Identify award and speaking opportunities to maximize talent visibility as well as maintain the award and speaking opportunity tracker.
  • Contribute to the development and distribution of our monthly newsletters, including content curation, design, and distribution to our subscriber base.
  • Manages schedule coordination for the team and is responsible for agendas, recaps, and notes during team meetings.
  • Lead internal PR communication, sending out a weekly email to agencies outlining proactive and reactive PR opportunities for talent and SLT.
  • Support PR intake across the agency to determine required support and actions.
  • Support across general admin needs of the team including (but not limited to): Handle scheduling, event and interview logistics, Attending calls and meetings/presentations and sharing out summary notes, managing the editorial calendar, media coordination.
