About The Position

This position is open to an LPN or Medical Assistant. This position is eligible for a $2,000 – $4,000 sign-on bonus. Responsible for assisting with daily clinical and clerical operations of the assigned physician practice(s). Works in collaboration with physician team to provide quality care to patients and quality support to providers through consistent communication. Responsible for assisting Physicians with care and assessment of all age groups within the Standard of Care set by Parkview Health System and Nurse Practice Act, in respective working state.

Requirements

  • Must be a high school graduate or the equivalent with GED.
  • Must have completed a medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements.
  • Must be a graduate of a school of nursing.
  • Must complete General Orientation, Patient Care Orientation, and PPG practice orientation as provided and required.
  • Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through American Medical Technologists (AMT) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through National Healthcareer Association (NHA) or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) through American Medical Certification Association (AMCA).
  • CPR required.
  • Must have current state Licensed Practice Nurse license.
  • Must have current CPR certification.
  • Medical assistant or physician office experience preferred.
  • Must have sufficient previous clinical experience (during training) in area of assignment.
  • Must have solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of clinical and clerical operations, service excellence, clinical quality initiatives preferred.
  • Must be familiar with computers, electronic medical record experience preferred.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
  • Demonstrate experience in customer service, establishing priorities, and working independently.
  • Must have good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and assist with 100 lbs.
