About The Position
The PPG Office LPN assists physicians with the care and assessment of patients of all age groups, within the Standard of Care established by Parkview Health System and the Nurse Practice Act in the applicable state. The role requires completion of the required orientation programs, a current state Licensed Practical Nurse license, and current CPR certification. Additional certifications may be required for specific areas.
Requirements
- Graduate of a school of nursing.
- Complete General Orientation, Patient Care Orientation, and PPG practice orientation as provided and required.
- Hold a current state Licensed Practical Nurse license.
- Hold current CPR certification.
- Have sufficient previous clinical experience during training in the area of assignment.
- Demonstrate experience in customer service, establishing priorities, and working independently.
- Have good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Be able to lift 50 lbs. and assist with 100 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient care and assessment for all age groups.
- Provide care within the Standard of Care established by Parkview Health System and the Nurse Practice Act in the applicable state.
