About The Position
Volkswagen of Tacoma is seeking a PPF & Window Tint Installer with experience in automotive film installation, detailing, or related hands-on trade work. This role focuses on precision installation, production consistency, and high-quality finish work on new and pre-owned inventory.
Requirements
- PPF installation (XPEL, 3M, SunTek, or similar)
- Window tint installation (computer-cut systems preferred)
- Automotive detailing or vehicle preparation experience
- Dealership or high-volume shop experience
- Strong teamwork skills
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written.
- Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
- Must have clean & valid driver's license
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in PPF, tint, vinyl wrap, or automotive detailing required or strongly preferred
- Strong precision and attention to detail
- Ability to produce consistent, high-quality installation work
- Comfortable working in a production environment
- Reliable, steady work history
Responsibilities
- Install paint protection film on high-visibility vehicle areas
- Install window tint to dealership and manufacturer standards
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for proper adhesion and finish quality
- Inspect and correct installation imperfections
- Maintain organized workflow and clean installation area
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
