About The Position

Kearney and Company is seeking a PPBE Reform Team Communications Consultant to join our growing team! Responsibilities include but not limited to: Assist government leads in the management of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) Reform Implementation for Department of Defense (DoD) activities Create clear, concise, and compelling presentations, charts, and other visual aids for all levels of leadership to communicate the findings of data analysis and the progress of PPBE reform initiatives. Craft PPBE Reform communications and advise on stakeholder engagement strategy Interpret and explain metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to PPBE reform. Provide technical expertise and support to government staff on data analysis tools and techniques. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
  • Willing to work onsite at the Pentagon daily
  • Must possess a Secret clearance
  • Demonstrated motivation and initiative
  • Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with developing presentations, information papers, and other communications
  • Clearly and efficiently communicate complex topics to senior leaders
  • Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to quickly deliver quality written products in constrained time periods
  • Must have outstanding communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders across DoD
  • Must have experience in managing customer expectations and working directly with customers

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive experience in translating stakeholder requirements into executable solutions
  • Experience with and understanding of the PPBE process and current reform efforts
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple projects Federal budget or DoD budget experience
