About The Position

Ford Racing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Powertrain Engineer with a strong background in driveline systems engineering. The role delivers driveline systems from concept through production, applies research and technology to production, and develops high-quality designs for the high-performance, low-volume market. The position requires significant depth in transfer cases, prop shafts, planetary gear sets, clutch systems, and differentials, as well as the ability to lead others, use core resources, resolve technical issues with limited oversight, and bring in technical expertise to keep programs on track. Technical oversight includes program management and project deliverables aligned with Ford GPDS. This role leads the design and delivery of a new driveline system and manages quality, cost, weight, function, and timing through production. It coordinates outside engineering and design resources, interfaces with technical specialists and manufacturing engineering, manages system interfaces, supports vehicle program teams, and provides technical leadership for problem resolution and prototype builds. The position is hybrid and requires onsite work four or more days per week. Visa sponsorship is not available; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
