About The Position
Powersports Service Technician needed to perform routine maintenance and repairs on motorcycles, UTVs, and ATVs. This role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, disassembling and reassembling components, documenting work in a computerized system, and ensuring quality control before returning units to customers. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining a clean work area.
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience servicing motorcycles, UTV, and ATVs
- Ability to quickly learn about new products
- Experience with point-of-sale and parts and service management computer software or the ability to quickly learn
- Valid motorcycle license
- Reliable transportation to work
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on motorcycles, UTV, and ATVs including oil changes, tire replacements, brake inspections and repairs, and electrical system diagnostics
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Disassemble and reassemble motorcycle, UTV, and ATV components as needed for repairs
- Complete repair orders and document all work performed in the computerized service system
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure all work is quality checked before returning the unit to the customer.
