About The Position

National Powersport Auctions (NPA) is the world's largest powersport auction and remarketing company. This role is responsible for verifying the condition of units or inventory received into the facility, managing warehouse inventory, and placing titled and non-titled units safely and responsibly. The position may require overtime. Basic employee responsibilities include punctuality, courtesy, respectful interaction with colleagues and customers, proper use of company equipment and vehicles, appropriate dress code, maintaining a clean work area, asking questions when unsure, assisting others, scanning vehicles during auction and delivery, and checking in/out with supervisors daily. Job-specific responsibilities include creating inspections for various powersport categories, verifying VINs and unit details against records, accurately entering unit conditions using NPA tools, checking and reporting mechanical condition, checking and adding fluids to manufacturer specifications, tagging parts and accessories, auction placement of vehicles, and completing initial training in detailing and lot operations before CR writer training. The role requires proficiency in CR guidelines and definitions, verification of inspections by a lead CR writer, achieving a target of 0 buybacks in 60 days for advancement, and an average of ~2 CRs per hour or ~16 per day. Advancement to the next level requires a minimum of 60 days. Employees must stow electronics, return company equipment, and review past CRs and QC as needed.

Requirements

  • Qualified to create inspections on ATV, MX, Dual Sport, PWC Trailer, Utility Trailer categories.
  • Verify vehicle Identification number (VIN) including year, make, mileage and model against label and within AMS.
  • Enter the overall condition of each unit with accuracy using acquired NPA tools.
  • Check the mechanical condition of each vehicle and report as necessary into AMS.
  • Check all fluids and add as necessary to manufacturers specifications.
  • Tag all parts and accessories included but not attached to vehicle.
  • Responsible for auction placement of vehicles as required and planned by GM.
  • New employees must spend a week in detail and a week with lot ops, Receiving/Deliveries/Merchandising, before starting CR writer training.
  • Required to be proficient with CR guidelines related to specific categories.
  • Required to be proficient in CR definitions.
  • All inspections must be checked/verified by lead CR writer, Pro User, before being uploaded.
  • 0 buybacks in 60 days are required for advancement to the next tier or level.
  • ~2 CR per hour average or ~16 day.
  • 60 days minimum for next level advancement.
  • Always stow away electronics, computers and cameras, day of auction.
  • Always return company equipment before end of shift.
  • Always review past CR’S and QC as needed.
  • No open toed shoes in warehouse.

Nice To Haves

  • New employees must spend a week in detail and a week with lot ops, Receiving/Deliveries/Merchandising, before starting CR writer training. The first week will be in detail and the goal is to learn our expectation of an acceptable level of cleanliness. The week spent with lot ops will entail how to receive a unit and how to check out a unit but most importantly how we merchandize the sale.
