  • Some familiarity with the FAA 14 CFR Part 23 or Part 25 regulatory framework, particularly powerplant installation aspects.
  • Experience with Siemens NX, CATIA, Teamcenter, JIRA, Confluence, or similar engineering tools.

Responsibilities

  • Support integration of turbofan engines, fuel systems, bleed air systems, and associated aircraft interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain system requirements, interfaces, specifications, designs, and technical documentation.
  • Perform detailed engineering evaluations and analyses related to propulsion and fuel system design and integration.
  • Support engine installation design, including interfaces, clearances, mounting provisions, and aircraft-level integration requirements.
  • Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, avionics, structures, and other engineering disciplines to resolve system interfaces and integration issues.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and review vendor designs, specifications, drawings, and technical data.
  • Identify design issues and develop practical engineering solutions for review with senior engineers.
  • Work with FAA DERs and other certification personnel to address assigned compliance and technical issues.
  • Contribute to certification documentation, including compliance documentation, compliance matrices, certification checklists, engineering reports, and supporting analysis.
  • Support powerplant and fuel system ground and flight test programs.
  • Author test plans, procedures, instrumentation requirements, test reports, and supporting documentation for aircraft development and FAA certification testing.
  • Participate in ground and flight testing and assist with data collection, analysis, and evaluation.
  • Support root-cause investigations and corrective actions for propulsion and fuel system anomalies.

Benefits
