Requirements
- Electrical or Powerline Apprenticeship, or equivalent experience
- Construction & Maintenance Electrician certification (309-A or 442-A)
- Ontario Provincial Power Line Maintainer Certificate (or equivalent)
- 5+ years in high-voltage distribution environments
- Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices
- Valid Class G driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems including switchgear, power cables, conduits, and terminations
- Perform testing and reporting to ensure system reliability
- Provide technical guidance on high-voltage projects and upgrades
- Work safely in challenging environments – at heights, in confined spaces, and outdoors
