This role involves operating, inspecting, and troubleshooting all Powerhouse equipment and Plant Utility systems efficiently and responsibly, while also monitoring and responding to fire system alarms. The position requires flexibility to cover shifts on both day and night schedules, with training provided during normal day-shift business hours. Working conditions are in a heavy industrial environment with potential exposure to various elements and require the ability to perform physical tasks.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet Kohler Company MVR guidelines
  • Must pass a technical skills assessment
  • Must provide and maintain personal tools for the role
  • Ability to perform the essential duties of the position
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively for manufacturing production processes
  • Consistent attendance and work performance
  • Successful completion of a drug screen and background check
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, inspect, and troubleshoot all Powerhouse equipment and Plant Utility systems in a manner that is efficient, financially responsible, and responsive to customer needs.
  • Monitor, respond to, and react appropriately to fire system alarms and trouble conditions.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with established guidelines and procedures while maintaining a strong focus on personal and team safety.
  • Provide coverage for open shifts on both day and night schedules as business needs dictate.
  • Complete training and development for the role during normal day-shift business hours.
