Powerbuilder/.Net Developer
About The Position
This role serves as backup support for the Banking application and assists in translating formal requirements into database and program solutions. The developer will comply with all system development policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines, including coding standards and reviews. Responsibilities include fully documenting work performed, providing technology turnover, performing complex system administration, maintenance, and support for production systems, and developing/maintaining technical documentation. The position supports the FIIS application written in PowerBuilder and provides support to other .Net applications. The developer will respond to system alerts and user events, make recommendations, and document findings. Key tasks involve designing, developing, modifying, testing, debugging, and implementing programs and systems, as well as developing and maintaining standard operating procedures and technical documentation. Related work will be performed as required.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with PowerBuilder/Infomaker.
- 5+ years of experience with Web Site Maintenance (Asp.net, MVC, Web forms, Blazor).
- 5+ years of experience with Visual Studio.
- 5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript.
- 1+ years of experience with WEB API Maintenance (C#, EF, LINQ).
- 5+ years of experience with Oracle/SQL Server.
- 5+ years of experience and proficiency with Microsoft, Visio, SharePoint and Office applications.
- 5+ years of proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction and as a team.
- Highly motivated and self-directed.
- Must physically reside within the US for the duration of the assignment.
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- 3+ years of experience working with Azure Devops or Team Foundation Server.
- 3+ years of experience with Client Server (EXE) application maintenance (C#/VB.NET, Entity Framework, ORACLE).
