Responsibilities Eastman has an immediate opening for a Power Watch Engineer in Indian Orchard, Massachusetts. This position supports Power Plant Operations, a 24/7 co-generation plant providing energy to the facility.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Massachusetts 3rd Class Stationary Engineer’s License is required
- Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts and holidays required
Nice To Haves
- Massachusetts 1st or 2nd Class Stationary Engineer’s License strongly preferred
- Supervisory experience in a Power Generation Facility preferred
- Process Control Systems experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Supervise Power Plant wage operating and maintenance personnel
- Maintain necessary operating and maintenance logs and records
- Trouble-shoot operating issues quickly and effectively
- Ensure compliance with all environmental and regulatory requirements
- Direct work of outside contractors performing maintenance/repair work as necessary
