About The Position

Blackmon Power, LLC, a subsidiary of Blackmon Service, Inc., is a full-service Electrical and Power Testing Contractor serving the Carolinas. They specialize in data centers and critical environments but serve various customers. Their services include circuit breaker and relay testing, thermal imaging, Arc-Flash studies, commissioning, and switchgear maintenance and acceptance testing. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a full-time position offering base salary plus performance bonuses. The role is primarily in-office but allows for remote flexibility as needed, with the requirement to work from their Charlotte, NC location.

Requirements

• Technical aptitude with knowledge of electrical components and systems is required
• Strong attention to detail
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required
• Minimum 5 years in the electrical construction industry is required
• Experience managing a customer base required

• Experience working in an office environment is preferred

Responsibilities

• Focus on expanding customer base and lead efforts to acquire new projects
• Assist in managing field staff and growth as needed
• Estimate projects
• Generate customer proposals
• Perform site visits to verify existing conditions and meet with customers
• Represent the company at tradeshows and events
• Generate MOPs (Methods of Procedure)
• Other similar items as needed
