About The Position

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Power Technician 2 in Denver, CO. Power without pause. Heating, cooling and oil-free air without end. We keep our customers’ worlds on. From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades. You'll be based out of our Denver, CO service center and can expect to work in the field with up to 75% travel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of relevant experience and/or training
• Proven knowledge of the principles of electricity and electrical design
• 8+ years of formal technical training
• 10+ years’ experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical switchgear, this will include both low volt and medium voltage power distribution gear.
• Should have knowledge with protection relays and meters
• Positive, self-starter who enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment to deliver consistent quality
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Specialize in working on both low, medium, and high voltage switchgear including breakers with relays, motor starters, VFD’s, load break switches, transformers, load banks, and batteries.
• Install fixtures, wiring conduits, motors, and other electrical equipment.
• Inspect circuits for specified shielding and grounding.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
