About The Position

This role involves developing, enhancing, and supporting high-availability electricity market and grid management software. The engineer will design, implement, and troubleshoot power systems applications, collaborating within Agile teams for software design, testing, and production support. Key responsibilities include analyzing and resolving technical issues impacting grid/EMS applications and contributing to performance, quality, and reliability improvements.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
• Strong background in Power Systems Analysis and Application Software Development.
• Knowledge of electricity markets, grid operations, EMS.
• Hands‑on coding in Java, C++, .NET.
• Experience with SCUC, Economic Dispatch, MIP optimization algorithms.
• Strong analytical/problem‑solving skills.
• Experience in Agile environments.

Nice To Haves

• Supporting Energy Management Systems (EMS) or utility grid software.
• Knowledge of grid modernization, stability, and integrated grid solutions.
