About The Position
CTG is seeking to fill a Power Systems Engineer – ADMS / Distribution position for our client. This is a remote role with a duration of 5 months. The engineer will support ADMS and electric distribution network modeling, analysis, and troubleshooting. Key responsibilities include performing power-flow analysis, convergence troubleshooting, and power-flow validation. The role also involves supporting SCADA integration and ADMS applications such as FLISR, VVO/VVC, and CVR, as well as validating GIS/CIM network models, topology, connectivity, load, substation, underground, and DER data.
Requirements
- ADMS, electric distribution, power systems, OT, SCADA.
- AspenTech OSI, CYME, GIS, CIM, power-flow analysis.
- FLISR, VVO/VVC, CVR, DER modeling.
- IEC 61970/61968, DNP3, ICCP.
- SQL, Python, scripting, and data validation.
- 3–5 years of power engineering experience with distribution networks and OT systems.
- Experience with AspenTech OSI, SCADA integration, network modeling, and power-flow analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
Nice To Haves
- Substation, underground, and DER modeling experience preferred.
