About The Position

Seeking a Power Platform Engineer to join a team and expand its Microsoft 365 engineering capabilities. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on Power Platform, SharePoint Online, enterprise governance, solution architecture, automation, and production support. The ideal candidate can translate business requirements into secure, scalable solutions and serve as a technical resource for complex Power Platform and Microsoft 365 issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years engineering Microsoft enterprise technologies, including Microsoft 365, Power Platform, SharePoint Online, or related cloud services.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Power Apps and Power Automate development, troubleshooting, integration, and production support.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing Power Platform governance, including environments, DLP policies, connector controls, security, lifecycle management, ownership, inventory, capacity, and licensing.
  • Advanced experience integrating Microsoft 365 using Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, PowerShell, PnP PowerShell, custom connectors, or Azure Automation.
  • Strong SharePoint Online engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of Dataverse architecture, security, and data integration.
  • Experience with Power Platform ALM, deployment pipelines, source control, and controlled releases.
  • Strong troubleshooting, architecture, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience with ITSM, incident/change/problem management, and root-cause analysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Power Platform certification(s).
  • Experience with Copilot Studio, AI Builder, agents, or AI-enabled business solutions.
  • Power Platform Center of Excellence experience.
  • Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, App Registrations, and managed identities.
  • CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub.
  • Experience in large or highly regulated enterprise environments.
  • Experience modernizing legacy SharePoint, InfoPath, or SharePoint Designer solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and support Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) and complex Power Automate solutions.
  • Design and manage Dataverse tables, relationships, security, and integrations.
  • Develop and implement Power Platform governance, including environments, DLP policies, connectors, licensing, capacity, security, and lifecycle management.
  • Engineer and support SharePoint Online, including site architecture, permissions, metadata, search, sharing, and governance.
  • Build integrations and automation using Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, PowerShell, PnP PowerShell, custom connectors, and Azure services.
  • Establish application lifecycle management and deployment practices using solutions, environment variables, connection references, and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub.
  • Partner with security, privacy, compliance, and architecture teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and serve as a technical escalation resource.
  • Create technical standards, documentation, runbooks, and reusable engineering patterns.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, evaluate solutions, communicate technical tradeoffs, and deliver business outcomes.
