About The Position

Under direct supervision, performs apprentice level work, operates power generation facilities and equipment within assigned area; performs inspections, tests, adjustments, repairs and maintenance mechanical power generating equipment. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school equivalency with supplemental college or training courses in electricity and mathematics.
• One year of power plant or industrial mechanical experience is preferred.
• A valid class "A" driver license issued by the State of California, Department of Motor Vehicles may be required.
• A negative drug test is required as a condition of employment.
• Employees must notify supervision when applying for a position.
