About The Position

This role involves developing detailed civil and structural designs, drawings, and models for power generation facilities. The designer will work on foundations, steel structures, and site infrastructure, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design solutions. Responsibilities include reviewing engineering specifications, performing site assessments, providing technical guidance, and supporting project schedules and budgets. The position also requires assisting with design issue resolution and maintaining documentation.

Requirements

• Typically 5+ years of experience in Power Generation civil/structural design
• Demonstrated experience with structural systems such as steel, concrete, and foundations
• Experience coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., Revit, Civil 3D)
• Strong knowledge of civil/structural design principles, codes, and standards
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Familiarity with power generation facilities required

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed civil and structural designs, drawings, and models for power generation facilities, including foundations, steel structures, and site infrastructure
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, environmental, and project management) to ensure integrated design solutions
• Review and interpret engineering specifications, codes, and standards to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry best practices
• Perform site assessments and support constructability reviews to optimize design outcomes
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers, drafters, and engineering technicians
• Oversee and check design work for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements
• Support project schedules, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining a high level of quality
• Assist with resolving design issues during project development and construction phases
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders as needed
• Maintain documentation and ensure proper version control of design deliverables
