About The Position

The Shipping Associate is responsible for picking and packing customer orders with power equipment. This role involves locating and pulling items from warehouse racks using a RF device, packing and securing items, utilizing the High Jump computer system for order accuracy, picking products using powered equipment, loading packages and outbound parcel trucks, and processing customer orders. Additional duties may be assigned. The position requires standing 30%, walking 40%, and lifting 25% of the time. The work environment is a warehouse with moderate temperature changes and minimal health hazards associated with working around forklifts.

Requirements

  • Entry level; zero years of relevant work experience
  • Basic proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Basic proficiency with standard business applications such as the internet and email
  • Able to develop cooperation and teamwork while participating in a group, working toward solutions which generally benefit all involved parties.
  • Able to build relationships with others by offering help and providing suggestions for improvement.
  • Understands customer service principles and the importance of providing an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Locates and pulls items stored on multileveled racks in the warehouse, based on a RF device direction.
  • Packs and secures items using the provided packing materials.
  • Utilizes High Jump computer system to ensure accuracy of all orders.
  • Picks product from the proper locations by powered equipment.
  • Loads packages with an RF device.
  • Loads outbound parcel truck.
  • Processes and prints customer orders to the warehouse.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
