Role Statement Service, diagnose, test, repair, adjust, and overhaul outdoor power equipment such as lawn mowers, chainsaws, and other related gas and electric powered equipment. Location This position will be performed onsite at our store. Remote work is not available for this role.

Requirements

1-2 years small engine repair/service experience preferred.
Small engines diagnostic and repair knowledge.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
Aptitude in the usage of various hand tools (screwdrivers, ratchets, hammers etc.) and measurement tools (e.g., calipers).
Knowledge of various diagnostic tools.
Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Service power equipment including changing oil, greasing, fueling, washing, and testing.
Assemble outdoor power equipment and other mechanical components according to manufacturer specifications.
Inspect and troubleshoot various types of outdoor power equipment to diagnose issues and perform repairs as needed to make equipment function properly.
Create part and cost estimates for needed repairs.
Perform routine maintenance services on small and large engine power equipment.
Willingness to learn and seek technical/product training when available.
Ensure work area stays clean and free from debris and trash.
May perform other duties as assigned.
