About The Position

The Rubber Liner will carry out rubber lining processes according to standard safety procedures. They will be responsible for reading blueprints and drawings to achieve accuracy with laying, lining, and applying rubber on product. Requirements

  • Class 5 Power Engineering certificate required
  • Experience in a hands on, manual labor type role
  • Basic knowledge of hand and measuring tools
  • Thorough knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints

Responsibilities

  • Prepare pipes and hoses for application of rubber lining by rolling or painting interior surfaces after the sandblasting operation has been completed
  • Apply rubber to interior surfaces by following instructions, drawings and sketches provided
  • Operate and monitor the Autoclave for the rubber curing process. Complete and maintain all records including autoclave logs, charts, material movements, and material consumptions to the jobs and provide reports as required
  • Use a layout table to lay out rubber components according to the specified drawings that will dictate tolerances on a blueprint drawing
  • Loading, unloading, and handling of material within the facility as required (mechanical & manually handling)
